![]() Hellraiser: SC looked better in which aspect? Graphic or design concept? Moral support? Great for me We as a team don't make any special, but last months have been a really big change for us. Yep, I was working on a FO mod - Polish Wasteland, and later on Forlorn World, competition for Burżuazja. We have support in design from Polish academic/research scientists and for sure it will be some serious shit First, we need to test it.Ĥ) What the hell, did you read our design doc? Yes, random events (good, bad and neutral) are a major feature of our game.ĥ) Nope, when you start game you decide in which country you will play, and then you compete only to private companies and random events. you can then recruit some nice smartassģ) Yep, we have some nice idea for this, but will be decided later. Once in a while you get some random events, and e.g. Rest of team (engineers) is a bunch of no-names. You may win a contract from gov/military, you can sell (or buy) hardware, you can sell (or buy) a technology, you can gain governmental funds or military funds, you can send tourists into space and profit from this.Ģ) You can recruit only "Project Managers" for defined space program (Moon Program, NEO Program, Satellite Program, etc) and they have their stats. But that's still quite some time away.ġ) All of them. Assuming the devs implement all that stuff as they want to. Being able to design your own spacecraft and have a proper management layer with astronaut training, resource mining/management and what not on top of that is really something that will be hard to beat. Also wasn't there a Buzz Aldrin's Race to Space rip off being made by some company? My guess is that would be in direct competition with this.Īlthough I still think that when Kerbal gets finished and has a proper career mode it will end up being *the* space agency game. I'm still too broke to pledge to anything so at best I can promise moral support. On one hand I would trust potatoes with such things, on the other I am not sure considering what those people made earlier (then again everyone needs to earn money for potato somehow). The issue here is how they want to handle the subject gameplay wise, as in how much is in the players hands and how much he can fuck up with bad choices. Still Shackleton Crater looked a bit better, but its kickstarter got canceled unfortunately (a pity but their goals were a bit too ambitious). ![]() Probably because I lust for business sims and ones focusing on spess in particular. LooZ: Were you the one working on original Burżuazja in the past? (and some Fallout mods if I recall correctly) or is it just a similar name? ![]() Or is it really just a shitty game for kids? Do they have stats? Can you influence them by giving them banana or potato to work harder?Īre there side-projects included, serving merely to help you funding ultimate goal, but also existing as new technologies that can yield you some profit and help financially further along the way?ĭo the accidents happen? (like preliminarly launched probe) Do fatal accidents happen? (resulting in publicity turning back on you etc.)Ĭan you sign the exclusive contracts with company/country which gives you some benefits (cash) but also drawbacks (worldwide bashing etc.) ![]() Is recruitment of skilled work-force included (e.g. How is the funding gathering in-game? Industry investors? Self-funding (via intermediate discoveries that can be sold or serve as additional source of money)? Govermental funds? (if politically correct) depending on your performance.
